Experience summer fun and sun at IPC!
The Summer Camp has been an on-going project run by the Alumni, where former students of IPC have returned to the school to help out and give something back. Since its beginning in 2014, volunteers have helped clear the forest and make it easier to navigate for students staying at the school, built a path around the lake and built small cozy spots so that the students could to sit around and talk with one another in the nature. In recent years, former students have been challenged with general upkeep of the grounds and the IPC vegetable garden, and building new decks outside the school, one outside the Human Rights Cafe, and the other outside the Big Hall.
Every year, the summer camp is held sometime in July. During this week, you’ll be staying at IPC with other Alumni members, help working and doing maintenance on the IPC garden and outdoor area, partake in fun activities and have the opportunity to relive the IPC experience!
The Alumni Summer Camp is for free, including accommodation and food, which means you’ll only have to pay for your travel expenses (though, note that as this is an event for Alumni members, you will have to pay for the Alumni membership fee if you haven’t already).
If you think this sounds interesting, you can keep an eye open for updates on the details for every summer’s summer camp on the website, and on the IPC Alumni Facebook page.
Capacity is limited at summer camp, so hurry up and sign up as soon as you get the chance!
Note that if you apply, your registration is only final when you receive a confirmation e-mail from us!
If you have any questions you are more than welcome to send us an e-mail on alumni@ipc.dk
