Candidates for the IPC Alumni board:

Hello Alumni!

Are you ever wondering what is going on at IPC in the current term? If you are, we have good news! One of the current students is keeping a blog  about his experiences there.

I am Nyi Nyi Zaw, from Myanmar where plenty of diverse ethnics and its traditions and cultures are beautifully alive. I am a mixed blood of Karen ethnic and Burma ethic, born in 1995.

This is a kind sharing place where I usually write about my experiences while learning things I love. So please enjoy it!

Nyi Nyi is the first student (of many, hopefully!) we were able to grand a scholarship. You might remember paying 200 DKK to become a member and half of that goes into the scholarship fund. Thanks to you, experiencing IPC is possible to even more people now!

So go check out Nyi Nyi’s blog – maybe you’ll find some familiar notions to your own experience!

Are you our new reunion coordinator?

Reunion Weekend 2019 coming up!

Do you want to help planning the Reunion Weekend? We are looking for 4 enthusiastic Alumni to be coordinators for this fantastic event. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • facilitating sign-up & participants
  • communicating with the school and organising team
  • arranging logistics of the event (accommodation, meals, etc.)
  • lining up program
  • promotion of the event

Your focus will either be on the logistical and practical issues around the event, or on the vision and implementation of the program. Organizing the RW is a big job, but we are a big group and you are not alone. The role of the coordinators is not to do all of the work, but to keep the overview and be the anchoring group. You will also be supported by experienced board members who know what has to be done. The RW is one of the Alumni core activities and helps us deepen our connection as a network around the globe!

What we expect from you:

  • Have a lot of IPC spirit and dedication to creating a strong Alumni community.
  • Be able to keep an overview in a sometimes chaotic environment.
  • Creativity, a positive mindset and teamspirit.
  • You need to be able to be at IPC already from thursday the 2nd of May, and dedicate a good chunk of energy to the project in the 1½ weeks leading up to the RW.

To seize this great opportunity we would like you to send a short application of max 300 words to We would like to hear about your motivation and which parts you would prefer to work with. Deadline is friday, the 30th of november.

We are excited to hear from you!

best regards,

Cara (S17) & Lars (S15)

RW19 head-coordinators

Snail Mail vol. 3

Hey Alumni of IPC!

The third Snail Mail Reunion ever is taking place these following months!

What is Snail Mail Reunion?
Snail Mail Reunion is a refurb of the awesomeness that is physical mail (=snail mail). If you choose to be a part of it you sign up to write one letter to another alumni, whose address you will receive from us. Then as you are writing your letter, another alumni (not the same as the one you are writing) is writing a letter to you.

It might take time for it to travel to you, but it will eventually get there.

At Snail Mail Reunion vol. 2 our letters travelled to 143.000 km around the world (impressive, huh?). Let’s make it even more this year!

How to participate?
Send an e-mail (non snail mail) to named ‘Snail Mail 2018’ and write your name and the address of your current place of residence.

Last date for signing up is November 14th!

When you receive the information on the alumni you have to send your letter to, you should send it within the next month (so around December 14th). Write about your time an IPC – best stories, good memories. And maybe if you have had some good alumni experiences, you can share them with your new pen pal.

We hope you will join in!

Hugs from the Alumni Board
